MIELKE performed all piping and related structural support steel work associated with moving two rubber based flooring production lines from Houston, TX to Florence, AL.  The scope included labeling, removal and re-installation of process utility equiipment and piping systems.  A new central utility plant was constructed in Alabama.  MIELKE’s design team created a 3-D BIM model and pre-fabricated the piping & support components to facilitate a more efficient field installation.  The utilities on this project included chilled water, natural gas, compressed air, condenser water, and a hot oil piping systems.
