Project Description: This project was a ground up new construction of a 60-bed rehabilitation hospital totaling approximately 68,000 sq. ft.  The facility is a partnership between Select Medical and the Cleveland Clinic and offers the latest rehabilitation equipment available for treating patients after a stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury and a variety of other serious medical conditions..  MIELKE’s scope included all Plumbing, HVAC and Medical Gas work for the facility.  We partnered with Brasfield & Gorrie early in the project’s planning phases to provide value engineering alternatives that reduced costs while maintaining the highest levels of integrity.
